How Do We Train Personnel?

Like most software applications, we prefer the train the trainer approach. We will typically spend a one day session, if needed, to introduce each component of the application. This is accomplished via teleconference or in-house. Our role is to walk through the on-line training manuals of the application, answer questions and set up the software for your company as we go along. Then we allow the company's trainer to use the application to start the implementation process with your personnel. We are available as further questions arise.

What kind of PC's do I need?

Probably the ones you have right now. Because our application is browser based, you need minimal a processor, hard drive and RAM.

How do I print?

Printing is accomplished via PDF files and Adobe Acrobat Reader. Print files are generated by the server and sent into your browser. This in turn allows you to print information to any printer set-up in your environment.

Do you have training manuals?

Yes, but like most information, this can be outdated as soon as it is printed. We find solid training and continued support is the best solution for our customers.

When/How can we contact you for support?

Anytime by phone or our online helpdesk.

Can I suggest software changes?

Please do! We always love to hear new ideas from our customer's.

What additional hardware can make my business more productive?

  • Radio Frequency (RF) devices in your warehouse. These allow wireless browsers to attach to your network, which in turn allows wireless PC's to roam through your warehouse picking product with our Electronic Picking feature. The return on investment for this hardware is determined by the cost savings of printing pick tickets and more efficient picking.
  • Wireless modems and Wireless ISP service. This allows your remote sales representatives to access your application with their laptops from anywhere. They can place orders and then teach customers how to access their data on-line. The return on investment for this hardware/service is reducing communication costs (phone/fax) and shifting customer service costs to the customer.
